IntranetWare Client for DOS/Windows gives you full 32-bit access to all of IntranetWare's and NetWare's comprehensive network services and resources. The 32-bit protected environment in which it operates requires only 4KB of conventional or upper block memory in most circumstances. By taking advantage of extended memory and saving you a substantial amount of conventional RAM, IntranetWare Client for DOS/Windows helps you avoid costly hardware upgrades and allows you more flexible desktop configurations.
Other features of the client include dynamic client-side caching, expanded autoreconnect capabilities, Automatic Client Update utilities, simplified network management, online documentation, and tight Windows integration.
IntranetWare Client for DOS/Windows provides optimal access to Novell Directory Services (NDS). Used in conjunction with IntranetWare Client for DOS/Windows, NDS lets you perform one global login to view and access any authorized network service or resource, regardless of its physical location on the network. It also enables you to authenticate to and simultaneously access multiple NDS trees within Windows.
IntranetWare Client for DOS/Windows is implemented as a set of NetWare Loadable Modules and provides both Windows and DOS installation programs.
